The Original Dozen

The old route, as best we can piece it together, from The Didsbury to the Woodstock Arms

Our best guess at how the Dozen was first done: start at The Didsbury by the church, work north up Wilmslow Road through the village, then head up Barlow Moor Road to finish at the Woodstock Arms in West Didsbury. The Barleycorn, the old eleventh stop, is long gone, so the Head of Steam stands in to keep it at twelve.
