FoodA popular beer house with bare boards, a panelled snug at the front, and a long room that goes a lot further back than it looks. Cask ales and Pieminister pies.
Good to know
- There's a surcharge on halves, worth knowing if you're doing the Baker's Dozen on halves.
- Fills up fast when the football is on, and getting to the toilets takes a while when it's busy.
- Cheese night on Tuesdays, quiz on Sunday evenings.

History
A mid-to-late 19th century building, already trading in the 1880s. It used to be several rooms around a central bar. A refurbishment in September 2017 opened it up into the single long room it is now.
